Strict rules to be respected:

Work within the L3 laboratory is highly regulated:  written procedures describe precisely how to run the laboratory especially what is aloud and what is forbidden. These rules, which must be accepted by all the involved employees, are taught during specific training after which the permission to manipulate in a biosafety laboratory is delivered.


Learn and understand…

  •  Access conditions of the laboratory,
  •  Dressing instructions ( see photos opposite),
  •  Protocols for the inactivation of pathogenic agents and waste treatment.


Awareness and implement of safety instructions

  • The danger of exposure to biological agents
  • Protection measures
  • First aid measures, in case of accidental contamination, laboratory evacuation plans, in case of pathogen emission, accidents, fire, etc…
